Some CAI members may have experienced a few annoyed Freesat customers as a result of the HD channels being present for selection in the EPG of standard definition boxes.  One CAI member had been asked by an intolerant customer why they were not being provided with a free upgrade box for HD as the standard box was showing the presence of HD channels which could not be viewed !!
 
The problem has now been rectified and Freesat wish it to be know that none of the misdemeanor was of their creation.  It was purely a technical matter that has now been addressed.  Unlike Sky boxes which leave the HD present in order to encourage up-selling, the Freesat EPG does not show HD listings in a standard definition box.
