Help scheme storybook puts viewers in the picture
Information on the Switchover Help Scheme is provided in different formats on request, such as Braille, Easy Read or large print. Material is also available in audio and video formats and in several different languages.
The Help Scheme has recently added a new item to its range of materials, the Help Scheme Storybook. Using pictures to describe the benefits of the Help Scheme, the Storybook has been specially designed for people who find text difficult to absorb and was produced in consultation with a range of disability organisations including Mencap, Mind and RNID, as well as disability experts at the Department for Work and Pensions and minority ethnic organisation CEMVO.
