After gaining an MSc in Telecommunication Engineering in 2003, Guillermo worked in the University of Vigo (Spain) as a Research Engineer for 2 years. In that post he was involved with the design and modelling of high frequency devices. In 2005 Guillermo joined Televes as Product & Area Manager in the International Division. For the 3 years that he held the position, Guillermo was responsible for the South African and Scandinavian markets. In August 2008, Guillermo was appointed as Managing Director of Televes UK.
For many years Televes has been involved with the CAI and has been an active member of the board, through Hugo Botas and, latterly, David Goldar. Guillermo will continue that tradition and work with the CAI in its aims to raise standards within the industry. His particular areas of interest are the ones related to the technical aspects of our industry. Guillermo currently Chairs the Development Committee and assists on the Technical and Benchmarking Committees. |
