Paul was born in 1966 and raised in Sheffield. He graduated in Computer Studies and thereafter worked at Plessey Telecommunications in Nottingham undertaking a role as a Software Engineer. In 1991, Paul joined Blake Aerials where he began learning the ropes of a British manufacturing company and was invited to join the Board of Directors in 1996, eventually becoming Managing Director five years later. Paul married Rachel in 1995 and they now have three children; Matthew (10), Jonathan (8) and Sophie (5 but going on 25!).
Blake Aerials, and more recently Blake UK, has always supported the CAI. In 2001, Paul became involved with the development of the CAI's Aerial Benchmarking Scheme and undertook Chair of the technical sub committee for the developments of the standards and auditing procedures that we see implemented today.
Paul joined the CAI Board in November 2010 and is looking forward to contributing and working on the Technical, Benchmarking and Marketing Committees. |
