Good news amidst endless gloomy media is always welcome respite and the CAI is pleased to report the Evolving Connectivity 2013 was so busy the start had to be delayed in order to allow the crowds in!
Tremendous good news was huge queues for the registration desk meant that to badge everyone saw the start of the talks put back 45 minutes in order to ensure no-one missed the keynote speakers!
Literally hundreds arrived at the NEC Pavilion just after 9am, re-assuring everyone involved that this was going to be a CAI event to remember - and possibly a ‘best ever’. A record pre-registered tally meant doors opened early to allow the huge queue at the door to make its way through the badging process. Inside visitors were greeted by some of the most extravagant stand builds the CAI has seen in its 35 year history.
The seminar area had been arranged to seat its largest audience ever with a 250 capacity – but it was still standing room only by the time talks were underway at 11.45am.

By 1pm distributors were already feeding back how pleased they were with the whole aurora of the venue, location and turnout.
Let’s hope the momentum drives our trade forward and we can extend the show next year. A huge thank you to all who invested and made it so successful.
The presentations by OFCOM, at800, BBC, SES-ASTRA and CAI will hopefully appear in the Evolving Connectivity 2013 folder in the downloads section of the website or click the logo's below.
We would like to say a thank you to all those who attended the show, CAI organisers, speakers and of course our exhibitors which are detailed below. Full information for our manufacturer/distributors can be found under the search facility.
