Focus 21 is currently looking for an experienced SMATV and IPTV installation engineer to work within our busy projects department installing, programming and testing SMTAV and IPTV systems. Based at our offices in Deepcut, Surrey you will work on site at our clients’ premises mainly in the city but travel throughout the UK and Northern Europe would be required.
As the ideal candidate, you will have at least 3 years experience as a SMATV engineer in the corporate av market place, have technical and practical knowledge of TV delivery systems including coaxial, UTP and IP distribution, CAI and/or CTS certification, be very keen and have an enthusiastic and organised approach to your work. With a passion for your role, you will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work well as part of a team or on your own.
The role will involve installation and commissioning of the headend, infrastructure, distribution and control systems. You would work under the direction of a SMATV Supervisor and will be required on occasion to work evenings and weekends to meet the needs of our clients.
