Robert started his career as a field and then Senior Engineer with Thorn EMI servicing TV, VCR and camcorder equipment. After completing a science degree and training qualification Robert joined the training department at Dixons Stores Group. Before establishing his own training and consultancy company Robert was recruited in 1997 by BSkyB to establish a training department capable of moving Sky installers into the digital age. After twelve years of leading the field training team Robert had achieved, the establishment of 7 regional training centres, the generation of a City and Guilds recognised Installer qualification, the design and development of H&S centres of excellence and a MA programme for sky apprentices. Robert continues to nurture his passion and enthusiasm for quality training by coaching and tutoring candidates through the CAI and other major companies.
Robert is the tutor for the CAI Basic Radio & TV, Basic Satellite, Practical Application of IRS and TooWay courses. |
