M e m b e r s h i p B e n e f i t s ReportCam, designed by Apps Etc for use by aerial riggers and building companies to create and send instant, video-based reports, is now available as an exclusive app for CAI members named ReportCamPro. With just a couple of clicks, the App creates and sends a video-based report, including a location map, time and date stamp and sender details. The report is automatically uploaded and stored on a secure server and alerts are sent to nominated recipients, instantly giving them a link to the report. It’s an easy, effective way to deliver inspections and to notify others when an incident occurs. ReportCamPro is FREE to CAI members to download and use an unlimited number of times. ReportCam founder Tod Yeadon said. “We want to give riggers a practical, effective way to manage incidents, prove compliance and prevent disputes and misunderstandings. Available now, we have designed an exclusive version for members of the CAI to generate awareness of the app within the industry.” So how will this work? An email or text message will be sent to members, giving a link to download the app onto Apple and Android phones and tablets. Then it’s simple to register and start using the app… and it will work even when there is no network coverage, so you can use it on every job. “It delivers details of any issues you may need to show to customers, wherever they are, and provides proof of circumstances in case you need it at a later date”, said Yeadon, “in a way which ordinary video does not because these reports show time and location details and are securely stored where they cannot be edited or tampered- with. You can also re-brand the reports with your company logo, so it’s a lot more professional than email attachments or social media tools.” To download, look up ReportCamPro on iTunes or Googleplay.
